During this CES 2017 we have had the opportunity to see a new white variant of Xiaomi Mi Mix, but Xiaomi was also there to bringing new colors to its top of the range Smartphone. Last year launched flagship, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 that initially hit the market was also performed well in different shades. Though we were expecting Xiaomi Mi6 to be announced or any information about its launch, which were not seen in this Xiaomi Mi CES 2017 event.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2: Specifications and Features
As per given Xiaomi mi note2 presentation at CES 2017, it is expected that in the near future it will be possible to purchase the new pink, green and purple Mi Note 2 versions. Naturally, these variants should reach the Chinese market first and may subsequently be accessible to other markets say to India and Other consumers.
Among the three colors, the pink version will be the most common option, considering that several high-end smart phones from other brands have a pink variant (see, for example, the iPhone 7 or the Samsung Galaxy S7). Taking this into account, the green color and the purple will surely give the device a much more distinctive image than the first announced Xiaomi Mi note2, considering that these are not so usual colors in the mobile market.
As per specifications, the new variants of Mi Note 2 should remain intact. The same Snapdragon 821 accompanied by 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of internal memory as well as a 4070 mAh battery and a main camera will be of 22.5 MP, apparently the same already found in the black, white and gold version. With that the device will reach the market in the 2nd quarter of 2017.
The public response to this new range of colors will certainly be interesting to observe and may perhaps if it is a positive reception, it will inspire other manufacturers to bet on variants with more exotic colors. As for these, there is still no official information on their arrival in the market, nor whether they will imply a premium price.
